Best Practices Committee

Purpose Statement

The National Framers Council Best Practices Committee is formed to find, formulate and replicate non-client facing procedures that are accepted or prescribed as being correct and most effective across the entire framing industry. Our goal is to provide the framing community with guidelines to be used during the various phases of building projects throughout the United States.

2020 Committee Priorities

  • Make recommendations to the Standards Committee on items the Best Practices Committee covered in 2019 that now categorically fall under their scope.
  • Address all in-house, non client-facing items (Human Resources, subcontractors issues, basically anything involving the first transaction) that we as framers collectively deal with.
  • Make 20+ recommendations to the NFC Steering Committee to present at the NFC Framer Summit in 2020.
